Happy Monday everyone! One of my favorite Holiday gifts from my parents was this beautiful cape. I wore it during the day time over the weekend on Saturday to brunch and while running errands.  It is soo comfortable and cozy I didn't feel like taking it off! When I'm wearing a cape or poncho I like to keep the look basic and casual. I paired this cape with a pair of black jeans, black suede booties, and a cute cross body bag to finish off the look. Capes and ponchos are a great layering piece this winter season and are super trendy.  They also add a touch of sleek and sophistication which is what I love about them!
